Courses & communities for course creators, my sacred weekly review & headlines

Hi friends,

Last week, I hung out with friends in Amsterdam and visited my favorite cookie shop: Van Stapele Koekmakerij.

This tiny shop is remarkable!

They produce only ONE type of cookie (a decadent dark chocolate cookie with a gooey white chocolate core…absolute heaven).

And they’re damn successful with it. The line in front of the shop can get so long that you wouldn’t even see what you’re queueing up for anymore.

I admire the dedication to perfecting one single product and sticking with it.

Too often, I find myself drawn to the next new shiny opportunity of what I could create. Instead, doubling down on what I’m already doing might be wiser.

Be more like the cookie shop!

Can you relate?

Now, let’s dive into this week’s newsletter…

✍️ Copywriting & Marketing

This has been 100% true for me 😅 I see it as a sign of growth.

The 2 most popular types of headlines & how to master them (incl. formulas)

Your headline is the first thing people see. It has to immediately grab your reader’s attention and draw them in before they wander off.

After having written and studied hundreds of headlines as a copywriter, I found that 2 types of headlines are most common and powerful.

I call them the “Goal Headline” and the “Struggle Headline.” And in this post, I’ll show you how to use them (incl. formulas).

🤓 Online Courses

Courses & Communities for Course Creators

Creating, launching, and running a transformational course requires a whole plethora of skills. And it’s not a feat that a course creator should tackle alone.

Luckily, there are great courses to teach you the skills you’re not confident in. And wonderful communities where course creators support and lift each other up.

I’ve made an attempt to gather the best in one place.

(Am I missing any? Please let me know!)

📈 Productivity

My answer: Intermittent fasting. I care about and enjoy the meals I do eat waaayyy more.

The Weekly Review: In 5 Steps to More Clarity & Focus

I have a sacred weekly ritual that helps me gain clarity and focus: My Weekly Review on Sunday afternoons. Here’s how I close off the past week and prepare for the next in 5 steps.
