**No Black Friday craziness in this newsletter! Take a break with me from all the noise out there.**
Hi friends,
What are you doing on Wednesday, December 8th, at 12 pm ET (view in your timezone)?
I’ll be on the Disco Creator Series to talk about…
š» Why I decided to jump from the corporate world into the online learning space.
š What I’ve learned about copywriting and crafting messaging that stick.
š¤Æ Simple steps to take your learning transformations to the next level with your courses.
ā My top recommendations from my new Course Creator Lab resource that has over 135 templates, essays, and checklists.

Here are a few more things I want to share with you this week.
āļø Copywriting
āShould you write copy yourself or hire a copywriter?
It depends! I created a decision tree to help you make the right choice.
š¤ Online Courses
The Peak-End Rule: How your students will remember your online course
Here’s how to use this cognitive bias to your advantage and create positive memories for your students (that they’ll happily share with others).
ā
Are you looking for support? Or want to help a course creator succeed?
One of my goals is to bring course creators together with the people who can help them succeed (e.g., copywriters, marketers, course managers, VAs,…)
TheĀ Job Board I created on Course Creator LabĀ is the first step to making that happen.
I also want to highlight course creators who are actively looking to expand their teams.
Right now,Ā Shivani from Ascend’s Leadership Program is looking for a Content Lead. Check out theĀ job description and how to apply here.
So, if you have a job opening or want to work with course creators, let me know!
šĀ Productivity
Excited to visit my first Christmas Market in 2 years this weekendĀ šāØš ,

PS: This week I finally watched Kung Fu Panda for the first time š¼
I know what you’re thinking: “You mean the animated movie from 2008 (!!) that EVERYONE else has watched at least 3 times?”
Yep, that’s the one.
If you’re like me and missed out on this gem so far, let me catch you up:
Clumsy panda Po dreams of being a Kung Fu master and, against all odds, is named the Dragon Warrior ā the legendary warrior to bring peace to the valley.
He works his plushy panda butt off to become worthy of the Dragon Scroll ā an untouched roll of paper with the secret ingredient that will give him the power to complete his mission.
Po finally opens the Dragon Scroll and…
It’s empty!Ā There’s no secret ingredient!
That reminder came just at the right time this year…
When we’re all being bombarded with offers, products, and courses that all seem likeĀ theĀ missing, secret ingredient to our success and happiness.
If we just got this one thing, finished this one course, all our problems would be solved.
But deep down you know already: There’s no secret ingredient!
Our panda Po learned to trust his strength and unique abilities to defeat his evil opponent…and so can we.
Let’s stop chasing shiny new objects and embrace what we already got inside of us.
PPS: Missed the last newsletter? I wrote about lessons from Sahil Lavingia, why you should write your copy first and develop the product second, and how to structure your online course lessons. Read it here.
