Hi friends,
Over the last couple of months, I’ve made some new friends over the internet.
And I’m always happy to see when one of them is launching something exciting… especially if it has to do with writing.
If you’ve ever wondered how much content you need to produce to be trusted as an authority in your space…
And you might feel that it’s never going to be enough…
Then my friend Jen Kuo (a fellow BASB alum) has something for you.
She’ll be teaching service-based entrepreneurs and business owners how to create ONE ‘Perfect Lead Magnet’ in her 5-Day Challenge that starts next week.
Just one solid piece of content that positions your authority so you can attract your ideal prospects who are ready to buy.
I’ve already signed up because a lead magnet has been on my to-do list for waaaay too long, and I know that I need some help to get it done.
Join the 5-Day Everlasting Content Challenge here.
Here’s what I want to share with you this week:
My Latest Article
Business Blunders #2 – Not showing up as yourself online
Have you noticed that a lot of new businesses are adopting a sort of faceless branding approach? Consciously or unconsciously. You hardly find information about the background of the company or who’s working there. I think it’s a bad idea to approach your online presence that way. In my latest article, I explain why and propose a better way.
Your Actionable Copywriting Tip
The way your copy is laid out on your website or landing page decides if the visitor is actually going to read or merely glance over it.
While headlines work well center-aligned, having long paragraphs of body copy center-aligned or justified makes it harder to read. That’s why body copy should be left-aligned – unless it’s super short.
Tool of the Week: krisp noise cancelling app
This nifty little app removes any background noise from your call, whatever device you’re on – both ways. It could be your dog barking or the screaming child of the person you’re talking to. Definitely going to use this for calls whenever I’m going out in public again.
Quote of the Week
When the world presents you with something interesting or frustrating or curious, choose to do something about it. Choose to be a creator.
